Polyaniline (PANI) is a famous conductive polymer, and it has received tremendous consideration from researchers in the field of nanotechnology for the improvement of sensors, optoelectronic devices, and photonic devices. The properties of reduction and oxidation, good electrical conductivity, easy method of preparation, and modification in addition to its environmental stability made PANI one of the most conductive polymeric materials that the researchers dealt with in their work. It’s particularly valued in electronics and energy storage, where it’s been heavily researched for use in supercapacitors, batteries, and fuel cells. Several features of PANI thin films, such as their magnetic, redox, and antioxidant, anti-corrosion, and electrical and sensing properties, are discussed in this review.
